"A Garden of Love"

"How fair is a garden amid the trials and passions of existence. "  ~Benjamin Disraeli

I will become a mother in just a few short months, and I've been mentally and emotionally preparing for my sweet baby girl. I am always searching online for different quotes that will aid in preparing me to becoming a mom. I came across a beautiful quote that has inspired to write yet another poetic entry of the parallels of a garden and being a mother.

A gardener's very role is to plant a seed and create life through that seed by nurturing, structuring, and giving the plant its daily needs.

Every woman that bears a child has the responsibility in giving 100% of herself to each individual child. Its her main devotion to offer up a loving and nurturing environment. We are to provide a home for them and be their inspiration, guide, and their main source of supply. Much like a gardeners role, mothers are to provide the necessities of life for her child/ or seed.

Each child is in need of a warm home, much like a seed needing to be completely covered in the warmth of the soil. The child needs to be watered daily by a mother's love, discipline, and support just as a seed in contrast needs the gardeners supply of water to help nurture the plant and support growth.

The most important ingredient to any successful garden is a light source such as the sun. A child raised in a christian home has its very learning foundation centered around the Son of God. It is through HIM, that we are created, formed, and continue to grow. Notice what happens to a flower when its light source is taken away. It begins to wither and to die. Much like our life without HIM.

A successful garden becomes successful when the very focus of it is centered around the sun, watered daily, and nurtured by tearing away any harmful things that may destroy it. Just as a mother is to provide a loving home and protection for their beloved child. The seed then blooms into a beautiful flower but even then, is a mother's work not done. A mother will always remain the mother and will continuosly be at work for her children. Just as a gardener continues to care for each flower.

Let's create children that will bloom into these flowers that are centered around the SON so we can fill up a whole garden of love in a world full of hatred.
